Louisville, January 30, 2024: GlobalAir.com is proud to announce that it has hired Abigail Sheets to better facilitate the experience for its FBO customers and partners.
She will be in charge of working with staff and leadership at airport fixed-based operators (FBOs) when updating their fuel prices, amenities and other information on the website, as well as acting as a chief point of contact.
The GlobalAir.com Airport Resource Center is a premier preflight tool for dispatchers and pilots that features FAA data and aviation weather for all U.S.-based airports, along with up-to-date JetA and 100LL fuel prices for more than 3,200 FBOs across the country.

Sheets holds a Master of Science degree from Purdue University in Aviation and Aerospace Management as well as a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering Technology with a minor in Airframe and Powerplant, FAA Part 147 curriculum, also from Purdue University.
While at Purdue, she worked as an administrative assistant in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology and as a teaching assistant within the aviation program at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
In 2022, she was part of a four-person graduate team that placed third in the ACRP National Design Competition for Addressing Airport Needs, Airport Operations and Maintenance category. Her team designed a 40-page proposal to increase the sustainability and ease of implementation for pavement management plans for commercial and GA airports.
She also organized events for the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology at Purdue and was a member of the Purdue chapter of Alpha Eta Rho, a co-ed aviation fraternity.
Sheets was born and raised in New Albany, Indiana and her favorite planes are the Boeing 314 Clipper and the Airbus Beluga.
