Mumbai, December 20, 2023: In a bid to inspire travel enthusiasts to explore new horizons, Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading new-age carrier, is thrilled to announce its expansion into Indochina with the launch of two exciting routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Vientiane and Hanoi with Siem Reap. The airline is set to enhance connectivity across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, providing travellers with seamless and affordable options to discover the rich cultural tapestry of these enchanting destinations.
Starting from February 25, 2024, Vietjet will operate four weekly flights (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) between Ho Chi Minh City and Vientiane, reducing travel time to just 1 hour 45 minutes. The inaugural flight promises to open doors to the dreamy, beautiful, and culturally rich capital of Laos, known as the “Land of a Million Elephants.”
Vietjet has also inaugurated the Hanoi – Siem Reap route, connecting the capital of Vietnam with the heritage city of Siem Reap, Cambodia. Operating seven return flights per week, this route offers a seamless travel experience, fostering tourism and trade between Vietnam and Cambodia.
In the spirit of the festive season and to celebrate Vietjet’s birthday, passengers can enjoy e-vouchers worth up to VND 1,000,000 (*) (Approximately INR 3,413), applicable to all Vietjet flight routes. These vouchers can be redeemed at evoucher.vietjetair.com. The promotion runs from December 18 to December 24, 2023.
Passengers booking flights with Vietjet will receive complimentary Sky Care insurance and have the opportunity to accumulate points for attractive gift redemption through the Vietjet SkyJoy program.
The airline operates a total of 35 weekly round-trip flights between India and Vietnam, offering the most flights on the largest network connecting key Indian cities – New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Kochi, and Tiruchirappalli with the cities of Vietnam – Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietjet has been operating for over a decade with around 450 flights daily across 125 routes connecting Vietnam with other countries across Asia and Australia.
