MumbaiOctober 30, 2023:  VietJet the Vietnamese new age carrier added its 101st aircraft to its modern fleet that landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City on 26th October 2023. The new aircraft A321neo ACF 240  was among 384 aircraft orders that the airline has had with the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers. The airline has constantly received and put new aircraft into operation in 2023.

The new A321neo ACF aircraft will help to reduce fuel consumption by at least 16%, reduce noise by up to 75% and cut emissions by up to 50%. Vietjet owns the world’s leading modern fleet with optimal operating costs, helping to bring more economical flight opportunities for passengers, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Vietjet is the first airline worldwide to operate the new A321neo ACF 240 aircraft.

The airline has taken off to destinations around the world, overcoming challenges to serve over 178 million passengers, bridging the gap between two countries, peoples, religions and opening up a new future for businesses and people.

Starting from November 2, 2023, the airline will initiate a total of 35 weekly round-trip flights that will establish a direct connection between five key Indian cities – New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Tiruchirappalli – and the Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The airline has effectively solidified its presence and connectivity between Vietnam and India.

Vietjet has been operating for over a decade with around 450 flights daily across 120 routes connecting Vietnam with other countries across Asia and Australia. The airline’s international network includes destinations in Australia, Northeast Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, mainland China), Southeast China and Kazakhstan.
